1993: Schlessinger MD founded

Formally known as Skin Specialists, P.C., Dr. Schlessinger and his team have been advancing the field of skin health since 1993, and have the knowledge and expertise to assess your skin concerns and provide treatment for simple or complicated skin conditions. 

1994: Skin Research Center founded

In 1994 Dr. Schlessinger founded the Advanced Skin Research Center – now Schlessinger MD Skin Research Center. The center has conducted more than 300 clinical research studies, investigating new medications and treatments for a wide range of skin conditions, many of which are used across the dermatology field and here at our clinic 

1997: LovelySkin.com founded

Knowing that he could help more than just those in the Omaha area, Dr. Schlessinger founded LovelySkin.com, providing a one stop shop for safe and effective dermatologically approved skin care products. LovelySkin is now the largest dermatologist owned beauty website in the world. 

2015: Brand launches

Taking his love of skin care to the next level, Dr. Schlessinger used his expertise to develop his own skin care lines: LovelySkin LUXE, afa, and FixMySkin. 

2021: LovelyGroup founded

LovelySkin Spa, under the direction of Dr. Schlessinger, and our team of medical Aestheticians are consistently named the best day spa in Omaha, and is recognized nationally for offering advanced professional skin treatments

LovelyGroup includes LovelySkin.com, LovelySkin Retail Store and Spa, SchlessingerMD, SchlessingerMD Skin Research Center, LovelySkin Spa, Cosmetic Surgery Forum (CSF) and Olive & Delmar, all located in Omaha, Nebraska.
